SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Be Visible

Make yourself more visible, especially at night, by wearing bright and reflective clothing, by positioning yourself so that other drivers can see you, signaling before turning or changing lanes, and using your horn when needed.

Do Not Drink and Drive.

It is not recommended to use alcohol and driving at the same time. Even a single glass of alcoholic beverage restrict your ability to respond to changing conditions, and each glass increases your reaction time. Do not drive after consuming alcohol, do not let your friends drive after consuming alcohol.

Check Your Motorcycle for Safe Riding

It's important to keep your motorcycle well-maintained and in a safe riding condition. Inspect your motorcycle before each ride and perform all recommended maintenance works. Never exceed weight limits and do not make modifications to your motorcycle or do not install accessories that would make your motorcycle unsafe.

If You're Involved in an Accident

Personal safety should be your first priority.

If you or someone else is injured, take some time to assess severity of the injury and whether or not it is safe to keep riding.

If necessary, call emergency numbers. If another person or vehicle is involved in the accident, follow all applicable legislations and regulations. If you decide to continue riding, first check the motorcycle’s condition.

To increase your safety, follow the instructions below;

  • Perform all routine and regular checks stated in this manual.
  • Stop the motorcycle and remove sparks and flames before filling the fuel tank.
  • Do not start the motorcycle indoor areas or partly indoor areas. Carbon monoxide in exhaust gas is toxic and might kill you.

Always Wear a Helmet

This is a proven fact. Helmets and protective wear significantly reduce the severity of head injuries and other injuries. For this reason, always wear an approved motorcycle helmet and protective wear.

Take Your Time for Learning and Practice

Always be aware of other vehicles around you and do not assume that other drivers can see you. Prepare to make quick stops and sudden maneuvers.
